HIRING SUMMER AND FALL TOUR GUIDES

We are in need of students (who love IU and enjoy their on-campus living experience) to provide residence hall tours to prospective students and their families.

Email your questions to RPS Tours.

SUMMER POSITIONS:

  • May 8-July 28.
  • $10.15 per hour.
  • Monday-Friday availability.
  • Four tours (or more) each week.
  • Tours begin at 11 a.m., 12:30, and 2:30 p.m., lasting 30-45 minutes.
  • To apply, email your resume and availability to RPS Tours.

FALL/WINTER POSITIONS:

  • August 21, 2017-May 4, 2018.
  • Must live in a residence hall or on-campus apartment.
  • Cannot be a/an CUE, Peer Instructor, RA, etc. while being a tour guide.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Must be available for a minimum of six of the following times, and at least two Saturdays between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. each month.
  • Mondays-Fridays
    • 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
    • 12:45-1:45 p.m.
    • 2:45-3:45 p.m.
    • 3:30-4:30 p.m.

HOOSIER DEN IS HIRING

The Hoosier Den, located at both Read Hall and Foster Quad, is a late-night (running 10 p.m.-2 a.m.) entertainment space for IU students.

We are looking for students to work a variety of positions. If you are interested in applying for the Hoosier Den, email the Foster Hoosier Den or the Read Hoosier Den for more information.

LIMITED 2017-18 SPACES AVAILABLE FOR CURRENT STUDENTS

NOTE: Be sure to sign up for 2017-18 housing by Friday, May 5, 2017. VERY limited space still exists.

If you missed the sign-up period, or your plans to live elsewhere have fallen apart, there are still a few apartments available for you on campus.

If you are interested in an apartment at Union Street Center or Mason Hall, visit the assignments office at 801 North Jordan Ave. If you are interested in an apartment at Evermann, visit the assignment office at Campus View.

Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

If you have friends that you want to live with, please bring them with you.

ALTERNATIVE DINING HOURS DURING LITTLE 500 WEEKEND

April 21-22: RPS Dining will observe alternate dining hours Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22. Please visit the RPS Page for Little 500 Weekend dining hours.

April 21-23: The Bookmarket Eatery will observe reduced dining hours over Little 500 Weekend. All concepts close at 2 p.m., Friday, April 21. All concepts are closed Saturday, April 22. All concepts resume regular business hours, Sunday, April 23.

AUDRIE AND DAISY DOCUMENTARY

Come join the Residence Hall Association at the Wittenberg Auditorium in the IMU on April 24 at 6 p.m. for a free viewing of the documentary, Audrie and Daisy.

Audrie and Daisy is a film about four women and their stories of assault. After the screening, the creators (SafeB.A.E) and the women featured in the movie will hold a panel discussion.

We hope to see you there!

FRIENDLY FACES AND POPULAR PLACES CONTEST

The contest begins Sunday at 10 p.m. and closes Tuesday at 5 p.m., so hurry to test your knowledge about residence halls and the people who help them run!
